Cheryl Winegar
I am a third generation Oregonian, born in Eastern Oregon, and have lived most of my life in the Portland area.
I earned my massage therapy degree in 1989 from The Oregon School of Massage. After passing the OBMT written and practical exams, I earned my massage license. To expand my massage techniques, I have studied a variety of massage modalities.
Exploring energy work led me to Reiki. I was initiated as a Reiki Practitioner in 1991 by Phil Morgan. Peter Wolfe initiated me as a Reiki Master in 1995. To deepen my Reiki skills, I studied with Reiki Master, William Rand, completing for the second time the Reiki Advanced and Master Trainings.
Feeling the need to address client spiritual issues from a new perspective, in 2005 I completed a 10-month Shamanic Apprenticeship Training Program taught by Lenore Norrgard. To further my shamanic training, I studied with Sandra Ingerman.
I have been in practice in the Portland area since 1989. My current office is located in West Slope, where I have been since 1999.
