Massage, Reiki and Spiritual Healing are all part of the healing arts. I see myself as a healer. It is my belief that with massage, Reiki or spiritual healing, physical and emotional pain can be eased. Windhorse Healing Arts is my gift to the world. My hope is that I can inspire others to nourish their souls.

I wish to thank my teachers, Tenzin Palmo, www.tenzinpalmo.com, Angela Farmer and Victor van Kooten, www.angela-victor.com, who have inspired me on my own healing journey.

Benefits of Massage

Touch is the first sense to develop. Touch as a healing art has been in practice for thousands of years. Scientific studies in the past decade show that massage therapy is beneficial to the body.

Some benefits of massage:

• Helps with tension related respiratory    disorders such as asthma

• Facilitates the elimination of toxins

• Improves circulation and lymph flow

• Improves body motion.

During massage, the amount of body tension is revealed, as well as how much energy is required to maintain the tension level. Through touch, massage communicates caring and a sense of well-being. The relaxed body can breathe and move more freely, creating a more whole, aware and alive body. Be kind to your body. Eat a healthy, well-balanced diet, exercise and receive massage.
